Underwater Epoxy Grout Systems
For Marine Repair, Wet Concrete Grouting & Submerged Crack Injection
Underwater Epoxy Grout
Water complicates everything—especially concrete repair.
ZDSpoxy’s Underwater Epoxy Grout Solutions are specially formulated for permanent bonding in wet, humid, and fully submerged environments. Whether you’re grouting piles, underwater slabs, pipeline crossings, or wet concrete patches, we have a system that cures through water—no tenting, drying, or draining required.
- No middlemen
- Fast prototyping
- Private label available
Common Challenges in Marine & Wet Grouting
| Problem | What Goes Wrong | ZDSpoxy Solution |
| Cement washout | Grout disperses or delaminates in water | Use solvent-free epoxy with anti-washout additives |
| Cure failure on damp concrete | Water film blocks adhesion | Use water-tolerant bonding resin (ZDS2870AB) |
| Whitening or soft surface | Epoxy turns white underwater | Use anti-blush, anti-whitening system (ZDS2186AB) |
| Crack injection blocked by moisture | Epoxy foams or fails to enter crack | Use hydrophilic, oil-tolerant injection (ZDS2002AB/2013AB) |
Application Areas
- Underwater pile jacket grouting
- Bridge column or pier repair
- Submerged slab or tunnel reinforcement
- Concrete tanks, seawalls, ports
- Pipeline anchor grouting
- Wet concrete priming before overlay

Why ZDSpoxy Underwater Grout Systems Work
- ✅ No Blushing or Whitening underwater
- ✅ Cures in Wet or Submerged Conditions
- ✅ High Bond Strength on saturated concrete
- ✅ Low VOC / Solvent-Free options
- ✅ Injection, Trowel & Flowable Options
- ✅ Can be Applied by Diver, Brush, or Pour
Real-World Use Case
A marine contractor used ZDS1417AB to grout underwater pile jackets in tidal waters (depth: 1.8–2.5m). Despite water movement, grout cured hard in 24h without washout.
For the same structure, ZDS2013AB was injected into fine cracks (0.1–0.3mm) below waterline using diver-assisted method.
Installation Tips
- For flowable grout: use pump or headbox with diver guidance
- For injection: use twin-cartridge or piston injection under water
- For priming: use ZDS2870AB to increase underwater bond strength
- Mix in dry location, then transport using waterproof containers
- Don’t overmix to avoid air entrapment
- Cure time: 24–48h depending on temperature and model
Integrate with Full Repair System
ZDSpoxy underwater systems are modular. Pair as follows:
| Base Grout | Primer | Injection Resin | Topcoat |
| ZDS1417AB | ZDS2870AB | ZDS2013AB | ZDS2186AB |
| ZDS1007AB (putty) | Optional | ZDS2002AB (for oily cracks) | Optional |
No need to drain or delay your project.
ZDSpoxy underwater epoxy grout systems cure strong—even in wet, tidal, or fully submerged environments.
